A beautiful day for a parade!
Springfielders come out in droves every year for the Springfield Christmas Parade, regardless of the weather. Some of my fondest memories are of waiting along Main Street, in freezing temperatures, with a warm cup of hot cocoa and my grandma by my side. Over the decades, we have happily endured snow, sleet and pouring rain to catch candy thrown from cars while we’ve enjoyed the parade. Not today, Santa. In spite of dreadful forecasts calling for torrential downpours, it was a perfectly beautiful day for a parade!

Thank you everyone who joined us for coffee, cocoa, hot cider and fun!
