Thirteen years already?!
When I opened Memento Ink (thirteen years-really?), it was with the intention of creating a space where everyone was welcomed and the work was focused on the client rather than artist ego. Once we found a home, that idea grew into creating a gallery space for artists, a salon space for esthetic art, a piercing studio and a focus on community involvement.
Oh the ‘tweens!
It hasn’t always been easy, soon after opening I began to face significant health crises. Thanks to the dedication and support of an amazing crew, we continued to grow and thrive. But our ‘tween years were rough. The pandemic struck and many people in the industry shifted focus or quit altogether. We survived, but not without scars. During this time, Memento Ink faced its most significant “growing pains” with constant change. Happily, in this last year, we have again become a family of artists that have created a client centered experience, focus on community involvement, and are excited to be here for our teen years!

Our 13th Annual Anniversary and Customer Appreciation Celebration seems so much more significant this year, as we celebrate my health, the culmination of a team that supports the Memento Ink vision and the ever growing number clients and friends that have stuck with us through the changes.
The week leading up to our celebration, and during the event, we will be selling raffle tickets for $5 each! You will receive one free raffle ticket when you attend the party, but you’ll want to buy more to ensure you win!! We will be raffling off over $500 worth of prizes!
This year, we celebrate on Friday, June 14th, with a gallery exhibit featuring digital and watercolor paintings by April Slater, acrylic paintings by Ivana Gallion, acrylic & watercolor paintings by Siera Morrow and live music by Kyla & the Soup Cats and the Winks! This event begins at 5:00 and runs until 10:00.
Saturday, June 15th, we celebrate our clients, long-standing and brand-new, with a tattoo and piercing flash sale from 11:00 a.m. until close. We realize this is graduation weekend for many, so you can drop by, choose a design, and buy a certificate to get the tattoo on a later date. Tattoos make great graduation presents too!
